That day one of my female friends told me how difficult its getting day by day to work in male dominated environment.She said it is so embarrassing when any male views one as a female body only..... forgetting other aspects altogether .It is simply humiliating.Any colleague or subordinate or anybody having that kind of psychology irritates........demeans a female. I somehow calmed her.
That reminds me of a similar incident I was discussing with a friend.Out of the blue she suggested....why don't we try this....
Don't make him a man....We as females feel uncomfortable when anybody looks around like that.Simply ignore his overtures, his glance.......Don't bother at all.
If somebody has such idiosyncrasies he would rather like it to disappear when you stop responding to him as a female.....Respond as a person and make him gender neutral.....Speak to him as in you are speaking to a female only.....
There seemed some genuine food for thought.What happens if we don't take what the other person is giving....it reverts back to him with force and that handles the idiotic behavior.
It's always better to be gender neutral oneself for sure and not let others be any thing other than that.
Practically speaking it helps.It improves your confidence level, your thinking capability also improves as you can now focus better without any other distractions or thoughts.People will behave the way they are accustomed to........Change the way you feel about it......Stop being the target......Rather target the opponent with no expressions.....with full confidence.
