EXTENDING BOUNDARIES OF LOVE AND COMPASSION

There was an interesting line in the newspaper today why limit this wonderful feeling of love to just one person in a life…why not to spread the arena of this love….why to be compassionate towards near and dear ones or towards people we know personally…why not to extend love and compassion across the continents….
Why not to actually feel that the whole existence belongs to me and I belong to the whole existence…when I know that even a small flutter of a bird makes a difference on the rest of existence….A ripple in water impacts the ocean……rays of sun pierce whatever comes on its way to reach its final destination……or may b goes much further than we know about…….I realize even my thoughts ,forget my actions have an impact on my fellow beings……my immediate environment…may be going much beyond than what I may have the capacity or capability to perceive.
Almighty has given abundant resources equally to all the parts of Earth for example. Nature of resources may be different, but we all know there is abundance stored the womb of our mother Earth. We have priced the extracts according to our fancy. There no distinction by nature.
As the child grows old he starts getting ideas about his line of control. We see it’s a general tendency of everyone to extend his/ her boundaries of control. This gives a boost to false self image or power, satisfying the ever bloating ego. Whatever other benefits one gets out of increasing one’s area of control, all ultimately runs to feed the false ego…nothing else.
What if all boundaries are erased mentally…then there won’t be need to greedily grab a lion’s share when one doesn’t deserve even an ant’s share…..How much mental peace would be there when there would be no need to accumulate without any sensitivity……All is mine and I belong to all…Definitely as an individual we have a duty towards every single existence…life…
Adopting all mentally in fact benefits self the most…of course one has to responsibly do the specific duties those come with living in a society, still the pressure goes when one mentally accepts that we all co-exist in this beautiful world and nothing is stationary…everything is ever changing…Nothing belongs permanently to anybody…
Then why waste time and energy in falsely creating specific limits…why not to relieve self from this limitation of physical existence…mentally …while still enjoying the sweetest fruit…..The Life.
