CAN STRAY MINDS BE TAMED

Yesterday i observed an incident which forced me to think deeper....it goes like this. As i was strolling on the roof of my house i saw two kids of a laborer coming towards my house, a girl and a boy of around five or six....They had biscuits and chapatti in their hands....both were playing and also eating these in between...There they saw a stray dog.The girl tried to shoo away the dog, but the boy went forward and started patting the dog....holding the food in one hand.

The dog was wagging its tail..as it was pleased with the boy.The dog sat down. The boy hugged it.....caressed it.The dog didn't get distracted at all by food held by the boy. Then the boy started giving it food bite by bite.....sometimes trying to put a bite in the dog's mouth......And the dog was enjoying every bit of that love and hard and dry chapatti.

This incident catalyzed a thought process in my mind....that its amazing how a stray dog can be tamed in no time with love.....
Then how about the antisocial elements or terrorists or misguided miscreants or negative seekers.......can they also be changed with love.....

May be in their life they didn't get enough affection or care.May be they had to bear all the odds in their childhood.May be no caring parent was present in their growing years.May be there was no body to guide them in positive direction.
May be they were never adequately introduced to this positive emotion that is love, care or affection.May be that's why they lost touch with life and adapted unacceptable means.

We can't ignore this problem by taking refuge in a karmic explanation.......
Can they also be streamlined with love and affection.....yes...definitely so.....
The need is to recognize the absence of affection in their formative years....and do the needful by understanding them......showing genuine concern and affection and giving them a guided progressive direction.....

My grandmother used to tell me an interesting concept. It was like this...... She used to tell that a human being's mind is just like a vessel and the vessel is full of thoughts..... emotions. These thoughts and emotions build up over a period of time. These vary in quality in accordance to the inputs and experiences of life and flow out whenever an output is required.

The quality of out flow from the vessel that is mind definitely depends on the stored inputs over the past..........
Whatever was stored there over a period of time flows out...
Genuinely...... love, affection and care can help in improving the content and quality of outflow.
